Is it possible to schedule a future cancellation date for my account?
Answer
This is dependent on how your account is billed.
- Self-service accounts don't have the ability to schedule account cancellation dates. Your account owner will need to manually cancel your account before the projected date of cancellation occurs. For instructions, see the article: How do I cancel my account?
- Managed accounts may request a cancellation date.
To determine if your account is self-service or managed, the account owner can open Admin Center and navigate to the Subscription page.
- If you can update the subscription or credit card on file, your account is Self-Service.
- If you see the message below, your account is Managed:
This is a managed account. Please contact your sales representative or our customer service team to make changes to your account.
