Question
How do I prevent calls to my customers from displaying as spam?
Answer
In a bid to crack down on fraud, carriers in the USA mark suspicious calls as spam. If you encounter this issue, Zendesk can register your phone numbers as 'Attestation A' with 'Stir / Shaken'.
To register for 'Stir / Shaken', contact Zendesk Customer Support with the information outlined in this article: Does Zendesk support CNAM? The information needed for CNAM is the same as for Stir/Shaken. CNAM is not mandatory but we highly recommend you register for CNAM and Stir/Shaken.
There are some other repositories where carriers look to determine if your phone number is trusted. You can mark your phone number as trusted by visiting any of the below URLs. Zendesk cannot submit this on your behalf at this time. Use the pages provided and submit the required information after contacting us to register you for 'Attestation A' with 'Stir / Shaken'.
- Call Transparency
- TNS Call Guardian
- Hiya for non-US numbers
