Subscriptions are helpful for both sales reps and managers to forecast, and gain insight into the monthly recurring revenue (MRR) in the pipeline of a sales rep. You can create and export a customer smart list in a .csv file, that includes valuable information such as: the current MRR, upcoming MRR, and the subscription end date. Sales reps can also use subscription smart lists to see ahead of time when their customers' subscriptions are about to end.
On the customers contact page, the subscriptions widget includes the customer's current monthly subscription rate and the end date; it also includes the upcoming subscription, its status (for example, whether it is increasing or decreasing in value from the current subscription), the start and end dates, and browsable historical MRR data. You can also change and add subscriptions directly on the Contact page of a customer, and you can just as easily deactivate the feature if your business model changes.
For more information on activating the Sell subscriptions feature, creating Contact smart lists, and changing and adding subscriptions, see Adding and managing subscriptions in Sell.

Activating the subscriptions feature
Activating subscriptions allows sales reps and managers to gain an overview of the monthly recurring revenue (MRR) that's in the pipeline of a sales rep. It also provides extra fields that you can add to smart lists for more insight. When you activate subscriptions, the feature will be visible to all Sell users.
To activate subscriptions
- On the sidebar, click Settings (
).
- Under Customize, click Subscriptions.
- On the Subscriptions page, click Activate Subscriptions.
Deactivating the subscriptions feature
If the business model of your company is no longer subscription based, you can remove the subscriptions feature so it's no longer visible to your users in Sell.
Removing subscriptions does not remove the data. If you deactivate this feature, the subscription widgets and fields are removed from view, and the subscription fields, in the list of fields that you can add to a smart list, will not be visible. However any subscription columns that were included in smart lists will remain.
To remove the subscriptions feature
- On the sidebar, click Settings (
).
- Under Customize, click Subscriptions.
- On the Subscriptions page, click Deactivate subscriptions.
Reactivating the subscriptions feature
If your business model has changed back to a subscription-based model, then you can reactivate the subscription feature. Reactivating the feature makes the subscription widgets and fields visible, and makes all of the data that was previously used for the feature available.
The procedure for reactivating the subscriptions feature is the same as activating the subscriptions feature.

Hi Lovelies,
Any idea if Subscriptions added can appear in "Revenue this month" or somewhere in the deals? I'd like to see how much that adds to all the sales coming into the company.
Kindly,
Dominic

This is huge! How strange is it to not add subscriptions into revenue? What did they think people needed that function for if not to track revenue? PLEASE FIX if anyone is "listening" lol Export to a .cvs file and you can actually see the data? Really? Wow...

Would be great to have this populate from deals, which would mean it would need to be available in deals. Would also be great to be able to cater for ARR as well as MRR.

This solution does not work, and I'm starting to think this is some fraud:
1. I want to cancel the Sell account.
2. From the Administration Center, it is impossible to open the "manage page" (empty page on Firefox, error 403 on Chrome)
3. I cannot get help from Admin Center directly (the page keeps refreshing)
This kind of error and approach made me cancel my Zendesk Account. And now I'm into it again. Please let me know how I can get rid of the subscription.

Sorry to hear that you would like to cancel your subscription.
I see that you already have an existing ticket that is assigned to your Account Executive to further assist you with the account cancelation. I made a follow-up on the ticket and you'll hear back from your AE soon! Kindly check your email for updates. Thank you!
