About the context panel
In sales, it’s useful to have detailed, contextual information at hand. To help you view and manage this information, Zendesk Sell includes a context panel on the right side of all lead, contact, and deal cards. The icons that appear in the context panel vary depending on which features your admin has enabled for your account.
Opening and closing the context panel
You can open and close the context panel on the go to help you with your workflow. This includes switching between views.
To open and close the context panel
- Open a lead, contact, or deal card.
- To open the context panel - On the right side of the screen, in the context panel sidebar, click any icon.
- To close the context panel - Click the same icon again.
To switch between views
- When the context panel is open, click an icon, such as the Apps () icon.
- To switch to another view, click a different icon. For example to see deals revenue information, click the Deals () icon.
Resizing the context panel
You may want to change the width of the context panel to have a better view of customer context, or the sidebar apps. The context panel is easily adjustable.
To resize the context panel
- On a lead, contact, or deal card, open the context panel.
- Hover over the shared border between the context panel and the activity space of the lead, contact, or deal card.
- A Resize () icon appears and the panel border turns blue.
- Drag the border to the left or right to change the width of the context panel.
Any sizing adjustments that you make remain when you switch between views in the context panel, or when you open or close the panel. Your changes are also maintained across lead, contact, and deal cards (unless you do a hard refresh).
