Custom Ticket Id's

Hello,
As a Zendesk user, It would be awesome if I could have it set up where my Support account creates tickets with an ID like (Example) "IL-887348" instead of just numbers like "1029 or 102" (examples).
Is this possible?

I think this is a MUST feature. My team and I need it to differentiate side conversation tickets assigned to different groups.

Chris Stewart unfortunately not. It would be nice to have this feature but not a MUST.

Zendesk promotes setting up different departments within a company as different brands, however having one numbering series is not ideal to differentiate the departments. Although assigning different agents to the different “Brands” (in our case departments), for work and reports, it would be ideal to have a different numbering sequence. I understand that alpha-numeric is not available, but if we could at least have a different numbering sequence that would work too! In researching this option, it has been raised several times over the last 3 years. Let's get this this built!
