Opening up "has attachment" as a trigger/automation condition
Posted Jun 28, 2018
We'd love to be able to target tickets that have an attachment. This would streamline internal workflows by removing uncessary processing at the Zendesk stage. Thanks!

This would be very helpful for our team!
Same use case as Tyler above.

Hey everybody,
Great news!
Given the strong demand for this capability in the current thread, I decided to build a FREE app that would help Zendesk customers automatically tag new tickets with attachments.
The app is work in progress, but you can register your interest from here.

Hello,
Through our App you can tag tickets as per their attachment extension (ri_application/pdf, ri_application/docx, ri_application/jpg, etc.): https://www.zendesk.com/apps/support/respira-tag-files/ and then define triggers or automations as per those tags.
Regards.

Our app was approved by Zendesk and listed on the Apps Marketplace.
Always FREE for early customers.
Sign up to automatically detect and tag tickets with attachments.

Since Zendesk is ignoring this for 4yrs, the solution is to use Liquid language as Ashish Divay suggested on his post.

Hey Bailey, OP here,
Thanks for this! It'll reduce a number of redundant calls for us and allow us to simplify some triggers without liquid markup. We'll be sure to put it to good use. 👍

We would love the ability to capture tickets that have attachments with an automation. This would allow us to tag tickets in bulk (retroactively) if they have an attachment. This would greatly improve our workflows as we work through our large backlog of tickets.
