Bulk form condition update
Answered
Posted Aug 27, 2023
Hi
I am looking for an option to add a new condition to multiple forms
The use case is I am adding a new condition that should be applied to a few forms
At the moment, from what I can see, I need to add the conditions manually to each one of the forms.
It would be great to have an option to specify at the condition level to what form it applies to.
thanks\Yoram

Hey Yoram, as a workaround you can do the below instead. Your trigger will fire on different forms you have within your instance.

Hi Jahn,
I think you misunderstood me as the form conditions I am talking about are related to the dependancy between a field value and what fields to show when a value is selected.
These conditions are applied pre-form submission and a trigger is post-submission
I am attaching a picture of the condition I am referring to/
Hope this is clearer now.
Thanks

I can imagine that it would be incredibly helpful to have bulk form update conditions and do this in just one click. I'm afraid there's no native way to add new conditions to specific forms; you need to manually add these to each of your forms.
There's a possible workaround by using this List Ticket Forms endpoint, which will return information about all ticket forms in your account. Each ticket form will also show all of its conditions, both agent and end-user facing. You can find the specific ticket form you're working on, copy the entire section of conditions, and then use this Update Ticket Form endpoint to edit that ticket form.
I hope that helps. Thank you!
