Options to integrate Zendesk with ServiceNow application with restricted access

Hi All

We have the Zendesk application within our organization and are interested in integrating it with the ServiceNow application managed by one of our customers. Our goal is to share only the data relevant to that specific customer (and ensure no other data is shared). Could someone please provide guidance on how we can achieve this? P.S. we are a low code/no code team, and I wish to discuss solutions options here and not delve into technical details.

You might be able to achieve what you want via a third-party automation tool like Zapier:

Thanks Dave for the response, unfortunately, we aren't able to use 3rd party apps for this solution. Are there any other options to achieve the integration, of course data security is our main concern, as we wish to only provide access to tickets limited to the customer only.

Alternatively, is it possible to let the customer create tickets in our Zendesk instance and only retrieve those tickets ?

Hi Divya,

I think in order to create a direct integration, you'll either need to use a third-party app, or code a solution using APIs from both systems. Since that's not an option for you either, then having the customer create tickets in your system might be the best available alternative.

Do you need your customer to be an agent in your system so they can solve tickets in your Zendesk instance? Otherwise, if they were end-users, they'd only be able to see their own tickets.

I agree with Dave - there is not an easy way to accomplish your original ask, so having the customers create tickets in your system is probably the best available option at this point.

Brining our customer in our system isn't feasible. But around coding a solution, is it possible that we create an app for ourselves which can restrict the data, while the customer can connect to that app using API?

Also, is it possible to standup (and extract) an independent instance of Zendesk for customers data only.
