You've embedded the Zendesk Chat widget or the Chat component of the Web Widget code on your site, but it's not showing up.
- If using the Zendesk Chat standalone widget, the Offline form is disabled.
- If using the Chat component of the Web Widget, you're not also using the Contact form component (see Configuring the components in your widget).
Cause and resolution
In most cases, this occurs because no agents are logged in and set to a status of Online in Zendesk Chat. When all agents are offline, the widget is hidden from site visitors.
Additionally, if a visitor or their IP address has been banned in the Chat interface, then Chat will be suppressed for that user, or all users at the banned IP address.
In the case that the widget is not appearing on your site, when agents are logged in and set to an Online status, please send a ticket to email@example.com for further troubleshooting.
