I agree with Kim, as a marketer myself, this seems ideal to be available as an import option on notes, to tie them back to campaign outcomes. But only if you can automate it via imports and tie it into aggregate reporting. Right now this feature seems limited.

I'm back here again, this time I'm trying to find out if there is anything at all you can even do with note tags. I want to query them in a smart list or a filter or do anything at all to aggregate contacts with certain note tags on them.. Can't even see that this "feature" does anything.

Hi Craig, Note tags are different to the standard tags that you can apply to leads, contacts, and deals. Use note tags to add extra information about a note by tagging that note on any lead, contact, or deal. (see Creating a note for a lead, contact, or deal). You can define your contact tags in Settings > Customize > Contacts > Tags.

That part is obvious. It would be great if there was any tool available to report or aggregate data, or filter/export notes with certain tags. The only way these notes are used is in the dashboard/activity view.
