Is there a way to attach a group of companies to a parent company when uploading a CSV file in Sell?
Answer
It's not possible to upload or update the Parent Company field through a CSV file. The file can't be updated through the importer tool.
As a workaround, you can either update the field manually or use the Sell API to manage your contacts.

If it's not the parent company as mentioned in this article, you can use the CSV import to update those contacts.

Just wanted to say, this feels insane that you can't import contacts and associate them with an existing company except by using the Company Name. We deal with Franchise locations where some Company Names are the same and the import doesn't know how to handle this.
