You can add smart list fields to your leads, contacts, or deals smart lists to ensure that you get the most relevant information for you to use in your workflow or export as a report. There are many fields to choose from and admins can also create custom fields specific to your workflow needs or the needs of your organization.
You can also view your smart lists in a variety of ways:
- Index view – view your smart list on the left and see the fields that you can filter on the right.
- Table view – view the information from your smart list in a data table. The fields that you add are used as columns in the table.
- Stage view – similar to Index view with the addition of a sales pipeline at the top of the list to show you which stage the deals are at in the sales pipeline of a sales rep or sales team.
- Board view - similar to Index view with the addition that you can have an overview of all deals in each stage in the selected pipeline

Adding smart list fields
You can always add extra fields to your smart list so the information you can take away from it is tailored to your workflow and your or your organization's requirements.
To add fields to a smart list
- On the Sell sidebar, click Leads, Contacts, or Deals.
- Click Working Center () to view all of your smart lists for your leads, contacts, or deals.
- In the top right corner of your contacts, leads, or deals smart list, click + Field.
- Search for the field that you want to add. You can use the search bar to find a specific field, or scroll through the options listed under All fields or the filtered lists of Communication and Lead/Contact/Deal property.
Viewing smart list fields
You can view the fields of your smart list in Index view, Table view, or Stage view (only available for Deals) so you can find a view that best suits the way you work.
Index view allows you to see your list with the smart list fields as drop-down options to the right of the list that you can filter.
To view your smart list in Index view
- On the Sell sidebar, click Leads, Contacts, or Deals.
- Click Working Center () to view all of your smart lists for your leads, contacts, or deals.
- Click the smart list you want to view, then at the top right of the list, click Index view ().
Now you can view the smart list fields that you've added to the right of your smart list.
- Click the Funnel () for each field to filter it.
Table view allows you to see your list in a data table with the smart list fields as columns that you can filter.
To view your smart list in Table view
- On the Sell sidebar, click Leads, Contacts, or Deals.
- Click Working Center () to view all of your smart lists for your leads, contacts, or deals.
- Click the smart list you want to view, then at the top right of the list, click Table view ().
Now you can view the smart list fields that you've added as the column titles of your smart list.
- Click the Funnel () on each column to filter it.
In Deals, the Index view option changes to Stage view and instead shows you the stages in the sales pipeline. In Stage view, you view and add fields and filters in the same way as you do for Index view, so you can see your list on the left with the smart list fields as drop-down options to the right of the list that you can filter.
To view your deals smart list in Stage view
- On the Sell sidebar, click Deals.
- Click Working Center () to view all of your smart lists for your deals.
- Click the smart list you want to view, then at the top right of the list, click Stage view ().
- Now you can view the smart list fields that you've added to the right of your smart list. Click the drop-down arrow for each field to filter it.
At the top of your list you can view the stage that the deal is at in the sales pipeline.
Board view allows you to see your list of deals as a kanban board. You can see an overview of all your deals and the different stages that they are at in your sales pipeline (each column is a stage).
To view your deals smart list in Board view
- On the Sell sidebar, click Deals.
- Click Working Center () to view all of your smart lists for your deals.
- Click the smart list you want to view, then at the top right of the list, click Board view ().
- Now you can view the smart list fields that you've added to the right of your smart list. Click the drop-down arrow for each field to filter it.
