Issue symptoms
When I delete a group, I see this error:
Group not updated. This is the default group for one or more agents and cannot be deleted. Select a new default group for the affected agents, then try deleting this group again.
Resolution steps
To resolve this behaviour:
- In Admin Center > People > Team members > Click each of your team member's names associated with that group > in the top right corner, click Manage in Support, which will open the Support profile.
- From the left-hand side, click any group name.
- From Default group, select a different group > Close.
- Return to your main group settings and delete it.
