Issue
I added a new language to my help center. However, no option to switch languages appears on the help center.
Resolution
Zendesk offers a default theme called Copenhagen, with an integrated option to switch language. You will see it at the bottom right corner of the page.
If you do not see that button:
- Either your team removed the source code from the footer (
footer.hbs
) of Copenhagen, the default theme in Zendesk - Or your team uses a custom theme, without an option to switch languages
Disclaimer: Zendesk does not support or guarantee custom themes. Zendesk also can't provide support for custom code and third-party technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, or CSS.
As a solution, you can:
- Reach out to your developer and ask them to fix their code
- Or, from Guide, reinstall the Copenhagen theme
