Grouping on custom drop-down field in ticket view should respect order defined for this field

Hello ZD,
When creating a custom field of type drop down menu in the admin, we can specify an order. So, essentially, a drop down menu is an ordered list. It works as expected in the ticket form.
But when trying to use this field in a ticket view to "group by", the field values are displayed alphabetically instead of by the order defined in the field configuration. I was told this is expected behavior (sure...)
So the request is to have the "group by" feature in a ticket view to respect the order of the field values described in the field config.

I'd be interested in a solution to this as well. Our “calculated priority” is based upon Impact and Urgency, with allowed values of High, Medium, Low. Having the view sort based upon the Group by in alphabetical order is not helpful (High, Low, Medium or Medium, Low, High).
