The Customers page provides a central place to view and manage all of your end users.

Note: If you have the legacy Customer Lists add-on, you may see additional lists of users on the Customers page.

From this page, you can view, add, edit, and delete end users. Admins can also delete end users in bulk.

Accessing the Customers page

You can access the Customers page to add and manage your end users. Agents can access the Customers page if they have access to all tickets. On Enterprise plans, this permission is set by an agent’s custom role.

To open the Customers page
  • In Support, click the Customers icon () in the sidebar.

    The Customers page opens and you can view all of your end users.

    You can also take any of the following actions:

    • Add end users
    • Manage end users
    • Delete end users
    • View suspended users and suspension details

    For help finding end users, you can search or sort the end users list.

Finding end users

Search the list of end users by using properties, such as name and email address, and sort them by name and the last date their profile was updated.

Searching for end users

Searching by name or email address is the quickest way to find an end user. When you search for end users, the results are sorted by relevance and can't be sorted using the Name and Last Updated columns.

To search for end users
  1. In Support, click the Customers icon () in the sidebar.
  2. Enter an end user's name, partial name, or email address in the search bar.

    Alternatively, you can search by other end user properties, such as status. For example, to search for all suspended end users, enter is_suspended:true in the search bar.

Sorting the list of end users

You can sort the list of end users by name and the last date their profiles were updated. If you sort the list before searching, the set sort order is not retained in the search results and is instead sorted by relevance to the search. Also, the list will need to be sorted again if you log out or refresh the page.
Note: The default sort order is the last updated date in descending order; in other words, the end user that was last updated appears at the top of the list by default.

To sort the list of end users by name

  1. In Support, click the Customers icon () in the sidebar.
  2. At the top of the Name column, click the sort icon () to sort the list alphabetically in ascending order () or descending order ().

To sort the list of end users by last updated date

  1. In Support, click the Customers icon () in the sidebar.
  2. At the top of the Last Updated column, click the sort icon () to sort the list by most recently updated to least recently updated () or vice versa ().
