My company changed names and I want to update my Zendesk subdomain. What are the steps to change my subdomain?

Account owners can change the subdomain of the account. For instructions on how to do it, see Renaming your subdomain.
Note: Renaming your subdomain may cause unintended side effects. Make sure you understand the considerations before you make a change.
If you decide to rename your subdomain, Zendesk recommends you configure host mapping in your account, educate your customers about the new URL, and then change your subdomain. Host mapping allows you to change the external-facing URL of the help center with the least impact on your customers.
