"You can now set more granular permissions for prebuilt Explore datasets. Specifying which datasets users can view and change helps you better secure your company information. See Setting dataset permissions."

Is the change that you can now set the same permissions about viewing and saving queries for pre-built Dashboards? I'm having some trouble telling what changed.

Hi CJ Johnson, the new change here is that you can set permissions on entire datasets (rather than individual dashboards). Before, you could set these dataset-level permissions for custom datasets only, but now you can do it for the default datasets as well.

(The initial version of this article said "prebuilt" datasets, but I think "default" datasets is perhaps clearer here and avoids confusion with prebuilt dashboards, so I've updated that wording.)
