Issue symptoms
When I attempt to add a new custom ticket field, I receive the error: ...field not added.

this is a very specific issue and there could be a lot of reasons for this to happen.

I'm also receiving the same error message and we in fact do have a default form in place. All fields were filled in and it made no difference. What was the solution for some of these so that I could be investigating the possible same fixes on my end?
EDIT: Try creating the field in a different browser. I was using Safari when I repeatedly received the error. Chrome worked just fine.

Zendesk should update this article to include other troubleshooting steps to fix this. Clearing cache and restarting browser fixed this for me.

Thanks for the tip clearing cache solved this for me as well. Zendesk, please update this with troubleshooting steps to resolve. I have a default form and was receiving the error. Clearing the cache resolved the issue. @... please update this with troubleshooting steps!!!
