You can copy a block and its subsequent branches to your clipboard, then paste the block or the entire branch where you'd like.

About copying between AI agents

Keep the following in mind when copying between AI agents:

• If they do not have the same intents, entities, replies, or APIs, the block is copied but it will not contain those components.
• Intent predicted and entity recognized in customer messages will be empty. You need to create those intents and entities.
• Links to another reply block will be empty as you can't link to a reply in another AI agent.
• If the two AI agents do not share the same API, the paste will stop at the API block and subsequent blocks will not be pasted. If you would like all components copied, it needs to be copied in a pre-API block and post-API block phase.

Copying content to use it somewhere else

You can copy a block or an entire branch to use it elsewhere. Your clipboard is unique to you, so you can copy entire dialogues or selected branches within the same reply, in different replies, or in different AI agents.

The same rules and logic apply as to which blocks can go next to each other:

• A customer message directly after a customer message block.
• An escalation block and link to another reply block cannot be in the middle of a branch. It must be the last block.
• Customer message and link to another reply cannot be the first block in a dialogue.

To copy and paste content in the dialogue builder

1. In AI agents - Advanced, in the dialogue builder, select the block you want to copy.

   Everything below the block is saved to your clipboard. You can decide what is pasted in.

   

2. Navigate to where you would want to insert the components, click the options menu (), then select Paste.

   Alternatively, click the Add + button, then select Paste. You can paste the block or the branch. You can paste anywhere in the conversation flow as long as it is allowed. If the copied item conflicts with a rule, the paste option is not available.
