I need to make the community forum page on my site completely inaccessible to the public while preserving all client submissions for high-level admins to see. If I disable the community, will the client submissions be deleted, or will I still be able to access them when editing my guide?

Hello, I am not seeing my Community section. I thought this was my issue so I went to add this back, however, it was already there. Although it did look slightly different. I am also not able to see the Activate Community checkbox per https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408821744026-Disabling-your-help-center-community to try toggling it back on/off

Hi Kenya,

When you disable Gather within the Guide settings, it will make the Community portion not visible for end-users in the live version of your Help Center. For agents and Guide managers it will still be visible while editing, in the event you'd like to re-activate again.

If you really want to remove the community link completely. You'll want to navigate to our Guide Theme settings and edit your theme code to remove the following code as shown in the screenshot below:

Remove the following line from your header.hbs template:
{{link 'community'}}
I hope that helps. Thank you!

How can I preview the help center with the community portion disabled to see how it all looks? I only want the Help Center, but not the community
