I can't log in to my Zendesk account.

Resolution steps

Several reasons cause trouble when you sign in. There are several different products and resources which you may try to access.

To sign in after you select your subdomain, use the button below. After you sign in, use the product tray to navigate to other products.

Use the correct sign-in page for the subdomain of the account you want to enter. If you don't know your subdomain, use the Zendesk login reminder tool. Select I am an Agent on the sign-in screen:

If the above articles don't help

  1. Go to yoursubdomain.zendesk.com/access/normal and attempt to sign in with your Zendesk credentials. The system doesn't present the option to get a new password until you try to sign in at least once.

  2. Clear cache and cookies on your web browser and try to sign in at the /access/normal URL again.
  3. Open an incognito or private browsing window in your web browser and try the /access/normal URL. This removes extensions that may interfere with your sign-in or use of Zendesk.

Chat-only accounts and Chat-only agents

  • Use the correct sign-in page for chat-only accounts: yoursubdomain.zendesk.com/chat, replacing yoursubdomain with your actual subdomain
