How can a Zendesk Support trial be cancelled?
Answer
To cancel your Support trial, you can simply let the account expire. If no payment method was added during the trial period, the account is deleted 270 days after the trial expiration date.
If you want to cancel a trial before it expires and a payment method was added to the account during the trial period, let the account owner follow these steps:
- In Admin Center, click Billing > Subscription.
- Type this URL address in your URL bar and replace "{subdomain}" with your subdomain:
https://{subdomain}.zendesk.com/billing/manage_cancellation
- Click "Cancel your account".
Any data from the account will be deleted in accordance with our Data Deletion Policy.

What do you mean you want to stop your trial version? Are you referring to cancel your trial or do you want to move to a subscribed account?

I'm afraid we don't offer any free version of Zendesk Suite or Standalone account. To continue using Zendesk, you will need to purchase a plan.
As mentioned on this article, to cancel your Support trial, let the account expire. If no payment method was added during the trial period, the account is deleted 270 days after the trial expiration date. I hope this answers your question. Thanks!

Before we have the free version called Chat Lite plan. However, the Chat Lite plan is no longer offered as of February 1, 2021 and is considered a legacy plan.

Hi DAVID BROWN welcome to our Community! :) Have you added a payment method while on trial? If not, you won't get automatically billed after your trial expires. When your trial expires and you haven't chosen a subscription. your account would be automatically cancelled.
