You can add a personalized signature to your outgoing email messages in Sell. This allows you to have full control over you signature's look and feel by adding for example, tag lines, images, links, social media icons, and formatting the text. There are two methods to customizing your signature, (depending on how fancy you want it to be).

Customizing your email signature (simple)
Select a simple signature if you want a straight forward signature that you can still customize. Choosing a simple signature mean that you can add simple text and links. However, you cannot have a two column layout, or images wrapped by text for example.
To customize your email message for a simple signature
- On the sidebar, click the Settings icon (
), then go to Communication Channels > Email.
- On the Signature tab, click Simple signature.
- In the Email Signature field, enter your signature. Use the format toolbar to format text, create a bulleted list, insert images, and add hyperlinks.Note: If you want to insert an image into your signature, you must provide the URL of the image on the website where your image is hosted. For example: You can go to the website where your company logo is hosted, right-click on the logo image, then select Copy Image Address or you can copy the logo image link from the Integrations >Calendars > Calendar Accounts page, (described below).
- Click Save.
To copy the logo image link from the Calendar Accounts page
- On the sidebar, click the Settings icon (
), then go to Integrations > Calendars .
- On the Calendar Accounts page, you can copy the image link from your
invitation email logo by right-clicking the image.
- Return to the email signature page by going to Communication Channels>Email>Connection.
- Click the Image icon in the format toolbar and paste the image URL into the link prompt, then click Insert.
Customizing your email signature (HTML)
If you want to customize your signature so it's a fancy signature, with all the bells and whistles, then select HTML.
To customize your email message for a HTML signature
- On the sidebar, click the Settings icon (
), then go to Communication Channels>Email>Connection.
- On the Signature tab, click HTML.
- In the Email Signature field, paste in the HTML for your
signature.
You can paste in your own code or use a HTML signature generator and paste in their code.
A preview of your signature is displayed in the panel on the right.
You can always go back to a simple signature, but in doing so you will delete your HTML signature.
To switch back to a simple signature, (and delete your HTML signature)
- On the sidebar, click the Settings icon (
), then go to Communication Channels > Email.
- On the Signature tab, click Simple signature.
- In the Switch to simple signature dialog, you will receive a notification that your current HTML signature will be deleted in the process.
- Click Switch signature.

Hi Dima –
Yes, in Zendesk Support you can add agent signatures. Here's how: Adding an agent signature to ticket email notifications
When I enter the html signature it resolves correctly in the preview window. It has a couple of images and contact details in a 3 column, 2 row table format.
When I try to use the signature it appears that the table is ignored and the contents mashed.
Are there restrictions in the html tags available?
I am having the same issue as Adam mentioned above.
Hi @... and @...- I would be happy to look into the table you are using in your HTML signature further! I have created individual tickets so that we can investigate.
Hi @... I am facing these problems with the HTML Signatures..
In the signature preview, it shows correctly, but when the signatures come to use, these are not working. Could you let me know if these are known issues for which we're working on a fix?
Hi Jitesh,
It looks like there's an issue going on with this as it's showing correctly from the preview. Let me look into this further. I created a new ticket and you will receive an email from me shortly.

Adrian
Hi!
I tried to set up a merging tag for my Sell signature in sequences and faced that in second and subsequent emails, my Sell signature ended as doubled information, and my Gmail highlighted it in violet and hides under the spoiler. Gmail sees Sell signature as plain text.
Might be you know how I can fix it?
When adding my HTML Signature, i have followed all the instructions. The actual pictures from my logos do not show... the pictures copy in other platforms.... please help.
