Question
How do I get Lastpass to work with native authentication when host-mapped? It will not autofill, help!
Answer
LastPass will block autofill because the domain you are accessing to log in to Zendesk does not match the domain the widgets login seems to be served from.
You can fix this by using one of the following workarounds:
- Adding equivalent domains in LastPass, see the LastPass article: Why am I getting LASTPASS SECURITY WARNING message when visiting some websites?
- Adding a Lastpass entry for the domain serving the widgets login.
- Clearing your LastPass browser extension cache.
- Log in to LastPass.
- Click on the LastPass Icon > More Options > Advanced > Clear local cache.
- Logout of LastPass.

This actually doesn't work.
I tried to remove zendesk.com from URL Rules but nothing helps.
I fear it might be because the from action directs you to another domain (https://yourZendeskTenant.zendesk.com/access/login) and lastpass probably has a security rule on this for it to never fill (rightfully so).

I understand your point about Lastpass' security rule. However, I would like to look into it further to determine that everything on Zendesk's end has been properly taken care of. I have created a ticket for you, please wait for my update via email.

The best solution we have found is:
store your lastpass credentials under this link: https://nsgo.zendesk.com/auth/v2/login
Now if you go your tenant/host and you are not logged in:

Thanks for reaching out!
I did some digging and it doesn't look like there's an alternative solution outside what is shared in the above article.
If this doesn't accomplish what you're looking for, I'd recommend creating a feedback post in the following topic using this template: Feedback - Ticketing System (Support)
Let me know if you have any other questions for me in the meantime.
