After you create your help center, you can change the name displayed to users. For example, if your help center is linked from your company website, you might want to change the name to reflect the fact that it is a help center, separate from your website or support portal. You might also want to use the name that your customers use to refer to your help center, for example Support, Help, Documentation, or Tutorials.
The help center name is an identifier that appears in various places on the help center pages and does not affect the URL of the help center.
You must be a Guide admin to change the name of your help center.
Where the help center name appears
- Header: The header is the most prominent location in which the name appears to your users and can be used to differentiate your help center from the rest of your website.
- Footer: The help center name appears in the lower left corner of the help center footer.
- Breadcrumb link: The help center name appears in the breadcrumb navigation link at the top left of each help center page.

- At the top of the settings page, click Save.
The new name appears on your help center.

Note: If you do not see additional languages here, then you have not set up your help center for multiple languages. For information, see Localizing help center.
- At the top of the settings page, click Save.
The new names appear on the localized versions of your help center.
