How long will Zendesk QA keep my conversation data?
Answer
Zendesk QA keeps conversation data for 24 months by default, or for the custom period set in your account. The retention period starts from the conversation’s last update in your help desk.
When conversations reach the end of the default retention period of 24 months (or the custom period selected in your account settings), conversation content and conversation metadata like external tags, details of the end user, and information fields like status, group, or channel are removed. You can review and adjust your data retention settings within your Zendesk QA account to align with your organization’s data management policies.
