We’re excited to announce Zendesk AI agents now support more languages across more features, enabling you to deploy Zendesk AI agents to automate conversations in more regions for more customers.

Additional language support

Previously, conversation bots on messaging could be built and deployed in twenty-two languages. Now, AI agents can now be built and deployed in eight new languages bringing the total number of supported languages to thirty (including two versions of Chinese). The new languages are:

  • Bulgarian
  • Finnish
  • Greek
  • Hebrew
  • Hindi
  • Hungarian
  • Ukrainian
  • Vietnamese

Previously, certain languages were supported with the bot builder, however were not supported for article retrieval related features, including generative replies and article recommendations/autoreplies. Now, all languages are supported uniformly across all features. This also includes autoreplies with articles on email and other non-messaging channels. The languages that are now supported for article retrieval features (in addition to the eight new languages above) are:

  • Chinese (Traditional)
  • Czech
  • Danish
  • Indonesian
  • Norwegian
  • Romanian
  • Swedish

How will this affect me?

You can now automate customer support in more languages, allowing you to get more value out of AI agents included with Zendesk.

In combination with the recently announced customer translations and test bot enhancement, this represents a significant improvement in the multilingual capabilities of AI agents.

What do I need to do?

There is no action required, once the rollout period is complete we encourage you to try enabling the bot in these new languages and provide feedback on your experience.
