Are there any plans to extend this to the mobile SDKs?

    Hi Danny!
Thanks for posting your question! At this time, social channel linking is specific Web-only functionality. The reason behind this is that our Mobile SDK's inherently have the notifications features to allow for messaging on the go. Did you have a specific use-case or need behind having social channel linking within our Mobile SDK's? If so, we'd definitely love to hear it! Feel free to share it [here]( Our teams definitely love hearing all the ways we can improve our products.
    Hope this helps!

    Hey there,

This feature really sounds incredible, and it could be useful for our european customers.

However, are there any plans to extend this functionality to other social channels, like WeChat?

    Hey Shayan,

I believe we have a way that you can integrate WeChat with Zendesk's Agent Workspace as mentioned here: Adding WeChat channels to the Zendesk Agent Workspace
If this isn't exactly what you're looking for then I'd recommend sharing your feedback in our Feedback - Ticketing System (Support) topic.
I hope this points you in the right direction!

    Hello Brett Bowser,

I was already aware of the WeChat integration with Messaging. We are using it.

However I was referring to Social channel linking (i.e. linking the WeChat channel to the WebWidget for seamless transition)  as desribed in the article above. Social Channel linking is only available for Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook, as far as I can see so far.
