We’re thrilled to announce that you can now embed Figma and Figma Jam files directly into your help center articles. This enhancement provides a more dynamic and interactive content experience and lets you showcase designs and collaborative work seamlessly within your articles.
This announcement includes the following topics:
What is changing?
There are two distinct user experiences regarding embedded Figma files:
- New article editor with generative AI article summaries (EAP)
- Existing (legacy) editor
While the technical functionality for allowing users to embed Figma files remains the same between the two editors, the user interface has been updated. In the new article editor, the embedding option is now conveniently located under the "+" icon and labeled as "Embed".

In the existing editor, article authors can click the Embed option on the article editor toolbar to open the embedded file modal, where they can add Figma files as well as video files.
This reorganization is designed to streamline the content creation process and enhance usability for all authors.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
Embedding Figma files and Figma Jam projects directly into articles lets content authors present interactive designs and collaborative visuals directly within help center pages. Incorporating Figma files in articles helps your team provide clearer visual references and comprehensive resources, making it easier for users to grasp complex information.
What do I need to do?
No immediate action is required on your part. Your team can begin using this new functionality right away. To learn more, see Inserting videos in articles and content blocks and Using the new article editor with generative AI article summaries (EAP).
