Hi there,

Is there any way to recover a ticket that has been deleted more than 30 days ago?

Thank you :-)

Hi Noémie,

Deleted tickets are moved into a Deleted tickets view for 30 days, where you can restore them or permanently delete them. After 30 days they are automatically permanently deleted. Once a ticket has been Permanently Deleted, there is no way to recover those tickets anymore. Hope this answers your question. Thank you!

Hi Team,

Is there a way to report on tickets in the Deleted Tickets view?

Hi Patrick, thanks for writing in!

May we confirm if are you referring to reporting it on Explore? Currently, there is a way we can report deleted ticket events and you may check that here Explore recipe: Reporting on ticket deletions. But if you are looking for a reporting in the Views including Deleted tickets view, unfortunately, that is not yet supported. Thank you!

Could we show the email address the deleted ticket is coming from? The API doesn't return them either: https://developer.zendesk.com/api-reference/ticketing/tickets/tickets/#list-deleted-tickets.

Hi Olivier Tassinari,

Good day! Yup you can, but you cannot open tickets directly from the Deleted tickets view. To view a previously-deleted ticket you'll need to restore it. Restoring a ticket returns it to its original view where you can see the email address it comes from, exactly as it was before it was deleted.

Cheers!

I don't have a deleted view.  How can I find deleted tickets without a deleted view?
