Can I restrict access to my articles?

Answer

Yes. It is possible to restrict access to specific articles.

Open the article editor page, then go to Article settings > Placement. Under Viewing permissions, select Visible to everyone or Only visible to the selected user segments, then choose who can see the article:

  • Signed-in users
  • Agents and admins
  • Up to 10 custom user segments

To restrict content to a specific group of end users, create user segments and apply them to each article. To create internal articles for your agents and admins, apply the Agents and admins visibility to your articles.

Tip: To restrict an entire section, restrict all the articles in that section.
